Maricopa County CFI EV Infrastructure Program Applications Open

The Maricopa County Air Quality Department (MCAQD) is proud to announce that the Maricopa County Charging and Fueling Infrastructure (CFI) Funded Electric Vehicle (EV) Infrastructure Program Application is now open. This innovative program is designed to reimburse qualifying Maricopa County Travel Reduction Program (TRP) participants up to 80% for the installation of new Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) for public use at their facility.

If you can answer “yes” to these questions, your organization may be eligible to apply for this funding opportunity. Does your organization:

  • Participate in TRP?

  • Offer safe, publicly accessible parking spaces that could be upgraded to EVCS?

  • Have the ability to commit to a five-year stewardship of the installed EVCS?

  • Have the ability to participate in a reimbursement program?

This program will require a two-stage application process, the first of which is now available for your organization to begin. We invite you to visit the Program Webpage and explore the available resources to get started.

MCAQD is hosting two workshops to present the Maricopa County CFI Funded EV Infrastructure Program Application. The first workshop will provide a detailed overview of the Stage I Application including program background, platform basics and helpful hints, and the questions asked in the Stage I Application. The second workshop will focus on a detailed overview of the questions asked in the Stage II Application and the supplemental information required to complete your organization’s application.
